4th Global Summit on the Health Effects of Yogurt, EB 2016, San Diego, USA

The 4th Yogurt Summit on the Health Effects of Yogurt focused, organized by the Yogurt in Nutrition Initiative for a Balanced Diet (YINI) ) took place on April 6th, 2016, during the Experimental Biology Conference in San Diego, USA. This year, the topic was on yogurt consumption and the prevention of type 2 diabete. The seven conferences aimed at translating evidence into practice.

The Danone Institute of Canada (DIC) is a non-profit foundation created in 1998 and funded by Danone inc. It is administered by an independent board of directors and scientific council, comprised largely of members that are dietitians and researchers. They are affiliated to different Universities across the country and have expertise in various fields related to food and nutrition.
